It is fundamental to know which region of the anatomical brain coordinates is the location being measured.
The 3D coordinates of each channel measured with Patriot can be quantitatively calculated by NIRS_SPM, SPM-fNIRS, etc. to determine which region corresponds to Brodmann’s region, for example.
